Same Day Bill Pay Reversal

You can cancel a bill payment made during the business day until 9 p.m. eastern time the same day with the CIBC Telephone Banking automated service. The CIBC Telephone Banking automated service offers full service banking at your fingertips 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1-800-465-2422 or 1-888-337-2422 (for service in French).

Once you have entered your card number and CIBC Telephone Banking password, the main menu will direct you to make a same day bill payment reversal.

To make a same day bill payment reversal, you will need the reference number for the bill you wish to cancel. If you do not have the reference number, the system will provide you with a list of bills currently eligible for a payment reversal.
