Cashable GICs - Access to your money

Cashable GICs provide the flexibility of early withdrawal to cover unforeseen expenses (such as equipment repairs), or to take advantage of business opportunities.

CIBC Redeemable GIC	Guaranteed fixed rate; withdraw your money at any time with specific early redemption rates
CIBC Cashable Escalating Rate GIC® (3- or 5-year)	Increasing annual rates over a 3- or 5-year term, and access to your money (with interest) on anniversaries
CIBC Variable Rate GIC	The interest rate is linked to the CIBC Prime Rate, and you can access your money at any time.

Non-redeemable GICs - Maximize your returns

Non-redeemable GICs usually offer a higher rate of return compared to cashable GICs. They are ideal when you won't need to access your money for a certain period of time, and they can be used to help reach financial goals, such as a major purchase.
