Find the right student credit card for you

Rewards

If you like the idea of using rewards to redeem for travel, gift cards, merchandise and more, go with a card that helps you earn points. Plus, you can collect extra points when you spend on certain categories. If you prefer to get a percentage of your spending back, go with a cash back card.

Annual fees

Some of our credit cards come with a low annual fee but consider the card’s value. It may be worth paying the annual fee if you'll earn enough rewards and perks to more than make up for the cost.

Interest rates

If you think you’ll carry a balance every month, go with a card with a lower interest rate. If you get paid regularly and can pay off your balance in full, you may be able to manage a higher interest rate and earn rewards.

Welcome offers

Welcome offers can help you get extra value for your card. Depending on the promotion, you could earn more travel points, cash back or savings on rates and fees. Make sure you review and understand the terms so you can take advantage of the offer.
